"Bilateral Trade, or Fair Division, without Money"
Hervé Moulin
(Rice University)Hervé Moulin is professor of Economics at Rice University. His research interests include Micro-economic theory, game theory, social choice theory, distributive justice. Hervé's current research explores mechanisms of resource allocation, such as assignment, matching, voting rules and cost sharing. A central question is the interface between the incentives properties of these mechanisms and their normative properties of equity and efficiency. Hervé's work has been published in leading journals such as Review of Economic Studies, Econometrica, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, among others. He is Associated Editor of Social Choice and Welfare, International Journal of Game Theory, Games and Economic Behavior and fellow of the Econometric Society.

Luisa Fuster
(Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences-IMDEA)Luisa Fuster graduated in IDEA in 1994. She is Research Professor at IMDEA Ciencias Sociales. She was previously a tenured Associate Professor of economics at the University of Toronto and has also held full time Faculty positions at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and at the University of Western Ontario. Lluisa research interests include macroeconomics, public finance and labor economics. Her research explores the macroeconomic and distributive effects of government tax policies, the welfare consequences of the social security system, social security reform, and the effects of altruistic transfers and accidental bequests on capital accumulation and the distribution of wealth. Lluisa's work has been published in leading journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the International Economic Review, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and Economic Theory, among others.
