IDEA is part of ENTER, a network of doctoral programs in Europe.

Doctoral students in the program may spend two semesters in one or two institutions of the network. Depending on their previous work, they can either take courses or pursue their dissertation research under the additional supervision of some Faculty member at the host institution.
The network celebrates an annual meeting, the ENTER Jamboree, where selected students from ENTER present and discuss their research work.
Upon satisfactory completion of their doctoral degree, participants of ENTER receive a diploma signed by the members of the executive committee certifying their participation in the European exchange program.
IDEA also participates in the master Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics (QEM), an Erasmus Mundus Master Program offered by a consortium of four Universities:
The Erasmus Mundus programme is a cooperation and mobility programme of the European Union in the field of higher education which promotes the European Union as a center of excellence in learning around the world. It aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with third-countries. The Erasmus Mundus programme persues its aims by supporting high-quality European Masters Courses, by enabling students and visiting scholars from around the world to engage in postgraduate study at European Universities, as well as by encouraging the outgoing mobility of European students and scholars towards third-countries (read more about Erasmus Mundus Program)
