| IDEA students are professionals devoted full time to their training and research activities. Financial Support is offered on a competitive basis to students of all nationalities.
As teaching is one of the very likely future professional roles of IDEA students, the improvement of communication skills is part of the students’ training. Students are assigned some limited teaching duties, which are evaluated. These skills are also developed through presentations in workshops and meetings.
The program directs outstanding support, training and advice to students who are in the job market. The placement officer meets with students, coordinates candidates through a web page, and organizes training sessions for interviews as well as recruiting seminars.
Students from third year on are part of research projects. Through these research projects they will have access to “resources” to attend and present their work in International conferences.
We encourage Fourth Year students to spend a semester in another university working with professors with similar fields of interest. Some of the fellowships available also open the possibility of applying for extra funds to cover the expenses in the visiting semester. |
